ALSAMA TIPS:

When shopping in Jerusalem, support the local Palestinian business.

The Palestinians face many hardships.

These restrictions prevent their ability to grow. Therefore any money you spend amongst the Palestinians can be a source of sadaqah (charity).

This is a great way to benefit their community and help them support their large families, without them feeling shy or embarrassed.

WHAT CAN WE DO FOR PALESTINE AND MASJID

AL-AQSA?

  • Educate ourselves regarding Palestine and the challenges the Palestinians and Masjid al-Aqsa is facing.
  • It is very important that we educate the world about Masjid al-Aqsa.
  • Make sincere prayers for Masjid al-Aqsa and the Palestinians.

Be prepared for the warm Palestinian smiles and the sunshine.

The weather in Jerusalem is warm, dry and sunny between April – November with temperatures averaging 25 degrees. Between December – March the average temperature is 15 degrees. December and January can be very cold so wrap up warm. The wettest month is January with an average of 90mm of rain.
